Everybody loves watching commercials especially when the company is mocking the competitor. Burger King launched a special Halloween campaign called #ScaryClownNight. My assumption based on the video that I watched, Burger King trolls McDonald’s in a very obvious way. Come check out the video for yourself. I’m not sure if Pennywise the Clown is in IT!

Isn’t that a creepy commercial?
In my opinion, that is a genius marketing strategy. Earlier this year there have been multiple clown sightings around the world. Most of these sightings were pranks in nature but have gained popularity due to a common clown phobia that many prank victims had. Imagine you had no clue about this promotion and you happen to walk past a Burger King. What would you do if you saw a BK filled with scary clowns?
